KMT delegation transits HK

The Chairman of the Kuomintang, Mr Lien Chan, and his delegation transited through Hong Kong today (April 26) on a visit to Nanjing, Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai. On behalf of the HKSAR Government and the Acting Chief Executive, the Secretary for Constitutional Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam and the Aide-de-Camp to the Acting Chief Executive greeted the delegation at the airport.
Wishing the visit by Chairman Lien every success, a Government spokesman expressed the hope that the visit would help promote exchanges across the Taiwan Strait and contribute to the development of cross-strait relations.
