SCMA visits Macau (with photos)

     The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam, visited Macau today (February 18) to exchange views with officials on Hong Kong-Macau co-operation and issues of mutual concern, and to learn about Macau's latest developments.

     In the morning, Mr Tam met with the Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macau Special Administrative Region (SAR) Government, Mr Lionel Leong, to discuss matters relating to co-operation and future developments of the two places, including the Hong Kong Macao Co-operation High Level Meeting to be held later this year.

     Mr Tam called on the Secretary for Transport and Public Works of the Macau SAR Government, Mr Raimundo Arrais do Rosário, and the Chief-of-Office of the Chief Executive's Office, Ms O Lam, in the afternoon and exchanged views with them on issues of common concern. Mr Tam then visited a public housing project to learn about Macau's latest housing developments.

     Mr Tam returned to Hong Kong this afternoon.
