Responding to media enquiries, a spokesman of the Chief Executive's Office said today (August 12) that as a result of the liaison efforts by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government in response to the request made by the Legislative Council (LegCo) members of the "lunch-box meeting", the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, Mr Zhang Xiaoming, had indicated that he would be pleased to meet with the LegCo members of the "lunch-box meeting" at the meetings to be chaired by the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam. The meetings, to be held in four sessions at the Central Government Offices from August 15 to 20, will be attended by the Democratic Party, individual LegCo members of the "lunch-box meeting", the Civic Party and the Labour Party respectively. The other two members of the HKSAR Government's Task Force on Constitutional Development will also attend. It is expected that other relevant officials from the Liaison Office will also attend.
