SCMA tours polling stations of Election Committee Subsector Elections (with photos)

     The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam, and other officials of the Bureau visited various polling stations of the 2011 Election Committee Subsector Elections today (December 11) to observe their operations.

     Mr Tam inspected the Smithfield Sports Centre polling station in Kennedy Town in the morning and the Tin Ching Community Hall polling station in Tin Shui Wai, Yuen Long in the afternoon. During the visits, he saw for himself the operation of the polling stations and chatted with the staff members to understand their work.

     In addition, the Permanent Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Joshua Law, visited the Joint Professional Centre polling station in Central and the Leighton Hill Community Hall polling station in Happy Valley this afternoon. Also in the afternoon, the Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Miss Adeline Wong, also visited the South Horizons Neighbourhood Community Centre polling station in Ap Lei Chau and the Wong Nai Chung Sports Centre polling station in Happy Valley.
