The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam, attended the LegCo Bills Committee meeting on the Chief Executive Election (Amendment) Bill 2010 and the Legislative Council (Amendment) Bill 2010 today (January 4). Following is the transcript of his answer to a media question after the meeting: Reporter: The Government has in the past allowed Wu'er Kaixi to come to Hong Kong but has never allowed Wang Dan to come here. Has the Government taken a view on whether it would allow Wang Dan and Wu'er Kaixi to come for Szeto Wah's funeral? Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs: The Government has consistently maintained that with regard to immigration controls, we will act according to relevant laws and legislation in Hong Kong.
