The Government has taken further steps to alert the public on the prevention of human swine flu by publishing leaflets on human swine flu in seven more languages.

The leaflets are available in Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, Thai, Nepali, Hindi, Urdu and Spanish, in addition to Chinese and English.

“These leaflets will be distributed to the public via different channels, including hospitals, public transport operators, the airport, non-governmental organisations, religious organisations, Consulate Generals, and schools,” a Government spokesman said.

Copies of the leaflets can also be obtained from the Public Enquiry Service Centres of the District Offices of the Home Affairs Department. The leaflet is also available on the websites of the Centre for Health Protection (www.chp.gov.hk) and the Race Relations Unit of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau (www.cmab.gov.hk/rru).
