| Government's response to media enquiries on Inter-city Forum |

In response to media enquiries regarding the Hong Kong-Taiwan Inter-city Forum between Hong Kong and Taichung City, a spokesman for the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau said today (February 13) : "In accordance with the consensus reached between Taichung Mayor Jason Hu and the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Stephen Lam during the Mayor's visit in January this year, Mr Lam has written to Mayor Hu to invite him to visit Hong Kong. "Our plan is to hold the Inter-city Forum in April. "A working team from Hong Kong will visit Taichung City some time over the next few weeks to make preparations for the Forum.
