Basic Law Roving Show to be staged in Tseung Kwan O tomorrow

A Basic Law Roving Show organised by the Constitutional Affairs Bureau and produced by Radio Television Hong Kong will be staged in Tseung Kwan O tomorrow afternoon (March 4). The public are welcome to attend and admission is free.

The show will feature performances by entertainers Jill, Dear Jane, Eddie@EO2, Vangie Tang, Evan Au, Percy Fan, Venus Cheung and winners of past Basic Law competitions, Indian dance, and band performances. The audience can also participate in Basic Law quizzes and win prizes.

There will also be an exhibition on the content and implementation of the Basic Law to enhance the public's knowledge and understanding of the Basic Law.

The show will be held at the Atrium on the ground floor, The Edge, Tseung Kwan O from 3pm to 4.30pm.

This will be the last of the five roving shows organised by the Constitutional Affairs Bureau at popular shopping arcades in various districts to promote the Basic Law this year.

The previous four shows were held in Tsing Yi, Heng Fa Chuen, Sham Shui Po and Kwai Fong from July 2006. Members of the public may visit the website of RTHK's Teen Power at http://www.teenpower.rthk.org.hk to view highlights of the past shows and for more information.
