The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam, will visit Beijing from tomorrow (November 16) to November 18.
While in Beijing, Mr Tam, who will be leading the Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Miss Adeline Wong, and other members of the Bureau, will call on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission and other ministries of the Central Government, in a bid to enhance communication and mutual understanding.
Mr Tam will then go to Chongqing on the afternoon of November 18 to represent the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the opening ceremony of the Eighth China (Chongqing) International Garden Expo, to be held the following day. He will then return to Hong Kong that evening.
