At the invitation of the Taichung City Government, the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam, and the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mrs Rita Lau, will lead a delegation to visit Taichung City from Friday to Sunday (March 5 to 7).

The Hong Kong Tourism Board has put on display a lantern in Taichung's annual Lunar New Year Lantern Festival to promote Hong Kong.
A Government spokesman said, "Through organising forums and promotional visits with provinces and cities in Taiwan, the Government aims to further promote exchanges and interaction between the two places, thereby enhancing bilateral co-operation and friendship."
