The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government will organise the Hong Kong-Taiwan Inter-City Forum on April 15 at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. Representatives from both Hong Kong and Taichung City will take part in the forum to discuss issues relating to tourism, as well as economic and trade between Hong Kong and Taichung.
Through organising forums with cities and counties in Taiwan, the Government aims to promote exchanges and interaction between the two places at the city level, thereby enhancing co-operation and friendship.
Mayor of Taichung City Mr Jason Hu will lead a delegation comprising high-level officials of relevant departments of the Taichung City government, representatives from the relevant industry and business sector to participate in the forum in Hong Kong.
Speakers from Hong Kong will include Principal Officials of the HKSAR Government, and representatives from quasi-government organisations, relevant industries, business and commercial sectors.
