"No Sexual Orientation Discrimination in the Workplace" poster design competition invites entries

Entries are invited from secondary school students and members of the public for the "No Sexual Orientation Discrimination in the Workplace" poster design competition 2008-09.

Organised by the Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Unit (GISOU) of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau, the theme of the competition is to promote equal opportunity in employment on grounds of sexual orientation and to increase public awareness of the issue with a view to fostering a culture of mutual understanding and tolerance within the community.

The competition comprises two divisions.  The secondary school division is open to all secondary school students.  The open division is open to members of the public (other than secondary school students) aged 18 or above.  The deadline for the submission of entries is January 5, 2009.

The winning entries may be used in the Equal Opportunities (Sexual Orientation) Poster Campaign to be launched in early 2009.

Entries together with the completed entry forms should be submitted to the GISOU on the Sixth Floor, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
