The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam (centre), this afternoon (August 15) met representatives of the Import and Export Functional Constituency of the Legislative Council at the Hong Kong Chinese Importers' and Exporters' Association to introduce the Green Paper on Constitutional Development and listen to the sector's views

The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam (centre), this afternoon (August 15) met representatives of the Import and Export Functional Constituency of the Legislative Council at the Hong Kong Chinese Importers' and Exporters' Association to introduce the Green Paper on Constitutional Development and listen to the sector's views. Mr Lam outlined the key issues set out in the Green Paper and explained the principles and requirements involved in attaining the ultimate aim of universal suffrage as stipulated in the Basic Law. With Mr Lam are Hong Kong Chinese Importers' and Exporters' Association Vice-president and Legislator Wong Ting-kwong (left) and association president Mr Joseph Lee.
