SCMA attends International Forum on China's Economy and Policy

The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Patrick Nip, today (December 12) attended the International Forum on China's Economy and Policy which was jointly held by the Central Policy Unit and the National Academy of Economic Strategy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and shared his views on Hong Kong's role in the Belt and Road Initiative and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Development at a discussion session. <br /><br />The Forum offered an opportunity for participants from the Mainland, overseas and Hong Kong to study and analyse China's economy following the 19th CPC National Congress. It was attended by about 300 participants, including experts, scholars and personnel from overseas institutions in Hong Kong as well as representatives from think tanks, the business sector, professional bodies and local and foreign chambers of commerce.
