Deputy Commissioner for the Development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

To deputise the Commissioner for the Development of the Greater Bay Area (C(GBA)) on matters relating to taking forward Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Greater Bay Area) development
To deputise C(GBA) in the liaison and discussion with the Mainland authorities and the Macao Special Administrative Region Government
To assist C(GBA) in overseeing the implementation of HKSAR Government’s strategies and initiatives in taking forward Greater Bay Area development
To assist C(GBA) in providing advice to the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs on the overall policies and strategies for taking forward Greater Bay Area development, and co-ordinating the work within the HKSAR Government
To assist C(GBA) in formulating the overall publicity and promotion strategy implemented in Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas countries in support of HKSAR’s participation in Greater Bay Area development
To promote and enhance connections with relevant stakeholders, including consuls general in Hong Kong, and leaders of the business sector and professional bodies
