CS' transcript after ExCo meeting

Following is the transcript (English portion) of a media session by the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Donald Tsang, after the Executive Council meeting at the Central Government Offices this (April 20) afternoon:
Chief Secretary for Administration: I am glad that the NPC (National People's Congress) Standing Committee has reacted very promptly to the report of the Chief Executive. That reflects the importance which the Central Authorities have attached to the constitutional development issues in Hong Kong. I am sure they would look at and examine the report of the Chief Executive
as well as the analysis we have made in the report of the (Constitutional Development) Task Force on this matter. And you remember that the conclusions we have drawn in the Task Force Report No.2 was a result of three-month work, representing a broad spectrum of Hong Kong people's views on constitutional development. The Task Force will make full use of the opportunity the
day after tomorrow when we meet the representatives of the NPC Standing Committee. We are going to repeat the messages we have made and the conclusions we have drawn in the Task Force Report No.2.
