Community Organiser
Training Programme
Race Relations Unit believes that all efforts to promote racial
harmony must begin with the individual and then extend throughout the entire community. Aim
& Objective We offer a 5-session certificate course to empower trainees
to improve communication and promote racial harmony within your community. Content The
training will include experiential activities, workshops, group work and individual
output that will equip you with: - cultural insights;
- communication
skills;
- knowledge of Hong Kong law, resources and support services;
and
- an aptitude for positive participation in society.
Eligibility Any
member of a minority community who has - - a good working knowledge
of her/his own community in Hong Kong;
- at least 2 years residency
in Hong Kong; and
- the commitment to actively contribute to the training
programme.
Fluency in English and/or Cantonese is an advantage. Programme
