The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam, will visit Changsha in Hunan Province and Zhengzhou in Henan Province from July 28 to 30 to learn about the latest developments in the central region of the Mainland and strengthen ties with the provincial and municipal governments and Hong Kong businessmen there.
During his stay, Mr Tam will have meetings with officials of the Hunan Provincial Government, the Henan Provincial Government, the Changsha Municipal Government and the Zhengzhou Municipal Government. He will also meet representatives of Hong Kong enterprises in the two places to better understand their business and operations.
Mr Tam will also attend a thematic seminar on urbanisation in Changsha, and visit the Changsha National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Integrated Experimental Zone as well as the central business districts of the two municipalities.
