SCMA visits Macau (with photos)

     The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam, visited Macau today (July 2) to exchange views with officials on Hong Kong-Macau co-operation and to learn about Macau's latest developments. Joining the visit was the Permanent Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Ms Chang King-yiu.

     During the visit, Mr Tam met with the Chief-of-Office of the Chief Executive's Office of the Macau Special Administrative Region, Ms O Lam, to discuss various co-operation initiatives with Macau, including the 8th Hong Kong Macao Co-operation High Level Meeting to be held in Hong Kong later this year.

     Mr Tam also took the opportunity to visit the latest facilities for meetings, incentive travel, conventions and exhibitions of Macau and the new campus of the University of Macau in Hengqin.

     Mr Tam returned to Hong Kong this evening.
