Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Wuhan relocates to long-term office

     The Economic and Trade Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Wuhan (WHETO) moved into its long-term office today (March 23).

     A WHETO spokesman said, "Renovation work for the long-term office has been completed. After relocation, WHETO will be better placed to take forward its work on various fronts."

     WHETO, which commenced operation on April 1, 2014, seeks to promote closer links between Hong Kong and the five provinces of Hubei, Hunan, Shanxi, Jiangxi and Henan in the central region of the Mainland and strengthen support for Hong Kong people and enterprises in the area.
